This is a small village near Dover in Kent. My intention is to show some of the Village, its history and the wildlife I find there.

Spring has sprung
We have a beautiful Weeping Pussy Willow, SalixcapreaKilmarnock, and it has now come into bloom, the bare branches are covered in golden male catkins. It is a small tree, about five feet tall, and that's as big as it will get.
Hi Tony, I love the texture in this photo! On my spring has sprung post, I do not know what kind of birds are nesting! Thanks for coming by Albuquerque DP!

ReplyDeleteDear Tony, thanks for correcting me on the name of the black bird and for visiting. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! But I associate pussy willows with Easter. Aren't they too early this year?
ReplyDeleteThe books says that they flower in mid-spring, so I guess this is quite early. Remember Easter is a moveable feast!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful detail of spring coming, and I love the blue sky - suppose it doesn't happen that often?

Hi Nathalie, sshh, it was blue again yesterday and it looks like it is going to be today, but don't tell anyone!
