One thing I did notice was the number of Blackbirds in the garden. As well as feeding on the various bits of seeds and fat mixture that is around the garden, they spend a lot of time in the ivy. It is really a good source of food for birds and, when in flower insects. We've got a couple of Holly trees as well, but all the berries have gone.

Ivy
Today restored my faith in weather forecasts. They said it would be awful, and it was!
