A quiet day with few birds around. I
also noticed that
Portland B.O. had already got a couple of pictures of a Meadow Pipit in its song flight.
One thing they haven't got is one perched with the Monument forming the background.
This female Linnet is the third in the Monument background set, I'm wondering just how many species I'll be able to get in the right place.
This Brindled Beauty was the only new moth for the year. It is only the fourth I've caught here and the earliest date, the others being on 18
th Apr 2005, 3rd May 2006 and 18
th Apr 2007.
