Peacock Butterfly

The mild weather this winter has brought more reports of winter butterflies than ever before. We found a Red Admiral on Jan 1st and I had an e-mail from villager Margaret Price, telling me she found another near the Golf Course on Jan 19th. There were two Peacocks on Feb 3rd, which would normally be hibernating. It will be interesting to see if the strange happenings of this winter are a one off or a symptom of the climate change we are experiencing.
