This is a small village near Dover in Kent. My intention is to show some of the Village, its history and the wildlife I find there.

Blue-tailed Damselfly
The Blue-tailed Damselfly, Ischnuraelegans, is the first of the Damselflies to visit our garden pond each year. It is about 32mm long and isn't very choosy in its habitat requirements and is therefore widespread. It flies from May to August.
