Sunset along Reach Road-Upper Road.

Reach Road and Upper Road were a no through road today, and for the next few days, because of road works at the Dover end. I thought that this would mean they were pretty well car free and I could wander about trying to take some pictures of the castle as the son went down
Fortunately the afternoon rain went and we had a fine evening. There were far more cars coming along than I thought there would be, presumably they were going for a late look from the white cliffs car park.
It was fun to try different exposures looking into the sun, but getting the exact angle I wanted for the sun behind the castle was difficult.
As the sun disappeared the castle church was nicely silhouetted against the sky.

It very strange to find that when you turn round there is absolutely no atmosphere in the photo at all.
