When the time comes the turkey carcass gets put out on the lawn (rough grass) for its final rites.
First down were the Herring Gulls, how do they find it so quickly?
Then the Magpie moved in for some of the scraps that were left over.
Lastly a gang of Starlings, and even a Blackbird came in for the final bits.
Today can't go by with out mentioning that it was Sam had his first Birthday today. The party was great with seven other local friends all born between the end of November 2006 and the end of January 2007, they must have had a lot of power cuts in the evenings in
Walthamstow about 21 months ago!
