This is the season when the aah! factor comes to its fore. Whether is it lambs or other baby animals. This pair of twins were following mum around, taking a drink every and then.
And a few yards away a second pair of twins were also with mum. They shouldn't have too much trouble mixing these babies up.
Long-tailed Tits seem very active and will probably be amongst the earliest breeders in the area.
Blue Tits were busily inspecting several nest boxes in the garden this morning, but, like me, they gave up doing much this afternoon as the wind increased and the light rain became horizontal.
