I said, yesterday that I watched two Buzzards in the morning. Unfortunately the pictures are distant, and blogger wouldn't load them yesterday. Today it's working OK, but the (pictures are still distant).
The two Buzzards were sitting in a field. They were probably feeding, possibly looking for small mammals such as voles, but more likely they were taking earthworms.
When they took of they circled the field a couple of times,
before circling round, quite high in a short display flight. I wasn't long before they attracted
the attention of one of the local Crows, which buzzed them vigorously and they drifted off out of sight.
