I quite like cold, sharp clear winters days when the light has a crispness that makes everything vivid. Today was the antithesis of that. Damp, dull, misty and dark. Even at lunch time I had to use ISO1600 and then could only get to 1/250th at f5.6, in other words you almost needed a torch. I certainly had my lights on when I went out. Try as I may I couldn't find any interesting gulls, assuming that, that is possible. Let's hope for a brighter day tomorrow.
