Hold me Tight!

A frog he would a-wooing go,
Heigh ho! says Rowley,
A frog he would a-wooing go,
Whether his mother would let him or no.
With a rowley, powley, gammon, and spinach,
Heigh ho! says Anthony Rowley.

There are other versions, even Bod Dylan recorded the Frogie went a-courtin' on the 1992 album 'Good As I Been To You.'

I got the snorkel out and dived into the pond today to have a look at the frogs. They were certainly cuddling up tight and close, in fact she looks as if he's squeezing the life out of her.

It makes swimming easier if you can have a piggy back, and it's fun anyway.

The first piece of frog spawn emerges, when there is a full "bunch" the male will fertilise the clump and providing we don't get a heavy frost we should have some tadpoles later.
