Grassland Management

The chalk grassland associated with the downs and cliff tops of Kent is a precious habitat with its own characteristic flora and fauna. Unfortunately it needs managing to stop it scrubbing over and coarse grasses dominating the less robust species. One of the management tools is the use of grazing animals, here on the Lees and the Paddock horses are used.
