This is the last of the village pubs to feature here, but for no other reason that one has to come at the end. A 17th century pub, The Hope Inn, St Margaret's at Cliffe, was officially re-opened on Wednesday 21 July 2004, following a £40,000 refurbishment by Faversham brewers Shepherd Neame. The only problem I've had is that the beer is so good finding the way home, about 400 yards, can be difficult!

Intersting false front. What's behind it, I wonder.
I don't think there is a false front. I think that the original bricks have been coated and painted
YES we would be good neighbors!
