Curfew House

The house on the left is Curfew House and the one on the right is a recently renovated addition. They are both properties of the "St Margaret's Bay Trust". When we arrived in the village six years ago the new property was a shell, looking like an old disused barn. It was restored over a long period of stops and starts and now nicely compliments Curfew House and the Library and Old School next door to them.

I just dug out Bill Bryson's Notes from a Small Island from my bookcase the other day, a book that you might like, if you haven't read it.
