With the kids down for the Easter holidays a day out to the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway ending at Dungeness seemed ideal. The Railway was great and Jack and Josh really enjoyed themselves. Dungeness RSPB reserve was fun, and Jack really enjoyed doing the Dungeness Discovery Trail, where he managed to see enough things to come home the proud owner of a Dungeness Silver Discovery Certificate. Unfortunately the NE winds kept the migrant birds to a minimum, although I did manage one Swallow, but as we all know, one Swallow a Summer does not make. Thanks to Nina for the picture of two of my wonderful Grandsons. This is a small village near Dover in Kent. My intention is to show some of the Village, its history and the wildlife I find there.
