Clematis Nelly Mosa

Clematis is the sort of flower that it is impossible to see without getting your camera out. This Clematis Nelly Mosa is on the fence of the Bungalow "Rosy Bank" in Chapel Lane. It was probably at its best while we were in Spain, but it is still very attractive.

This is the first Tawny Shears I've caught this year. With 10 non-mothing nights I should be catching quite a few new species for the year in the next couple of nights.

I am enthralled by all of your bug photos - they would be great inspiration for some piece of fiber art. This particular moth is very cool!

Hi Vicki W, few people other than "mothers" realise what extraordinary patterns can be found on moths, this one and the group it belongs to are particularly good.
