Colonel Richard E. Heisey

Just over a year ago I posted about the War memorial on Upper Road commemorating the Royal Regiment of Artillery and 127th AAA Gun BN. To day a comment was left on that post that I reproduce in it's entirety to ensure that anyone interested sees it.

"Just to let you know that Colonel Richard E. Heisey of the 127th AAA passed away on December 13th, 2007. He was stationed in Dover prior to the invasion of Normandy. If anyone served with him and would like to send their condolences to his grandson please leave a message here or send it to paskurnik@hotmail.com and I will pass it on. Thankyou for your time. "
