A Froggy went a wooing!

This morning, for the first time this year the "top" pond was alive with frogs, this is 20 days earlier than they appeared last year. No spawn yet and it is a problem when they are so early as often the spawn doesn't survive. There are various hazards, any frost will probably kill it and it is more vulnerable to fungi and other diseases if it is cold.

The number of Guillemots feeding of shore seems to have increased with quite large groups both on the water and flying by, but I saw little else today with just a couple of Gannets, a few Kittiwakes but not divers.
