Ut's Bank Holiday - It's Raining

The weather was "typical Bank Holiday" but it really didn't matter with visits from family and friends making it an enjoyable day.

This evening, even as it got dark, the Herring Gulls were still following the tractor, making as much use as possible of the tit bits uncovered by the plough.

This is part of a large store of the straw that's been brought in over the last few days. I presume it gets used as bedding for the various dairy herds and horses in the area.

As I came past this stubble field I was amused to see this head popping up and down, it's the sort of picture that needs a good caption.
