A surprise, caught in a trap.

I'm used to finding other animals than moths in my moth traps, These range from the annoying wasps, to spiders, crickets, beetles and on one occasion a Blue Tit. Several Butterflies have also joined their relatives, the last was only a few days ago and was an extremely fresh and Stunning Painted Lady, but Red Admirals and Large Whites have also be in there waiting to be released in the morning.

The last non moth to make an impression was this Migrant Hawker, it toured my "mothing room" for a few minutes before settling down in a corner for an hour or so. In the end I opened all the windows and the door and managed to persuade it to leave.
