Chris Donald, Moth Lady

It's been a long time since I posted. With daily posts on Facebook, daily reports on my mothing blog and other internet contributions, such as flicker I have let this blog "go". But Chris, my next door neighbour called me into her garden on Monday afternoon to show me a moth "something". I must be getting psychic,because before I got there I guessed that it would be a Convolvulus Hawk-moth, and that is what it turned out to be. This is a migrant to the UK and this year has been exceptional, although this was only the second for me this year (there was another in one of my traps this morning).
