A Foggy Day at the Bowls Club

While most of the country was basking in sunshine, at least until the evening, a persistent fog blew backwards and forwards over St Margaret's. I decided to have a look at the Bowls Club, to see how they were faring. Colin Sumner informed me that they were playing Wear Bay, from Folkestone, and with one end to play they were in a winning position. I didn't stay to the end so I don't know the final result. I am pleased that bowlers, at least those that use a flat green, still dress properly, unlike the one day cricketers.
