I'd put some grass cuttings in a week or so ago so there was a nice worm "bed" for it. I guess it was about 15 inches long. There certainly one of my favourite garden animals.
It didn't wait around long, and quickly buried itself in the loose grass, I hope there are enough around for some young ones to be around later.
