There may be a lot of tea in China, but you can't get a decent cuppa. After a month in China it's good to be home, although the birding was very enjoyable, the country fascinating and the scenery fantastic,. More of this later. I've run my moth traps on three nights since I got back on Monday, and last night provided a real surprice in the form of a beautiful Striped Hawk-moth and four Bordered Straws. These moths are migrants, and are here despite the weather!

Welcome back, you've certainly done some travelling this last year.
